Jill Smith, Senior Consultant

Jill has more than twenty years of experience in Human Resources and has held positions as a Generalist, Recruiter, Compensation and Benefits Analyst in a fast growing corporate environment. Since 1992, the bulk of her experience has been in the HRMS function. She joined the external consulting field at Executive Alliance in 2007.

She has provided HRMS consulting services to several types and sizes of client companies. The list includes academic organizations including Harvard Law School, Babson College, Lesley University, Northeastern University, and Community College Systems of NH as well other clients in various industries including Boston Beer, Harbor Freight Tools, IAC Group, The Kraft Group, Shawmut Design and Construction and Tufts Health Plan.

Background and Education

Prior to joining Executive Alliance Jill worked at Genzyme Corporation where she designed and communicated strategies for Genzyme’s utilization of HR technology in a strategic partnership with senior management. As the HRMS Manager, she managed a staff of 6 and was responsible for the overall implementation and resulting service delivery of a corporate wide Human Resources Information System solution (PeopleSoft) for 3,800 domestic employees and supported the expansion of their PeopleSoft initiatives.

Jill received her B.A. in Liberal Studies from Framingham State College. She is Past President of the New England Chapter of IHRIM (The International Association of HR Information Management).
