Lisa Teague

Lisa Teague is a Senior Consultant with Executive Alliance’s payroll practice. She joined the firm in 1998 and has been an active payroll and finance practitioner since 1984. Prior to joining Executive Alliance, Ms. Teague served as a corporate payroll director for a large health care company. 

Ms. Teague uses her broad-based knowledge in payroll and finance by helping clients to: 

• Diagnose and resolve payroll problems, both before and after they have surfaced
•  Re-design payroll business processes to improve efficiency and compliance
• Manage selection and implementation of payroll and time and attendance systems
• Make decisions on payroll in-sourcing/outsourcing
• Select payroll service providers
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements with providers
• Manage payroll operations on an interim basis

Ms. Teague works with employers of all sizes in both public and private sector organizations. She is fluent in a number of payroll software applications, including PeopleSoft, ADP, Lawson, Ceridian and Kronos. Due to the nature of her consulting work, she is very skilled at bringing order and stability to volatile situations.   

Ms. Teague is a frequent speaker at payroll industry events. Recent topics include, “The Payroll Process-Framework for International Employees” and “How to Evaluate the Effectiveness of Your Payroll Services Organization”. She is also an active member of the American Payroll Association, where she participates in payroll legislative review. 

Ms. Teague graduated from New Hampshire College with a B.S. in Human Services. She has earned The American Payroll Association’s Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation and has successfully completed two of the required eight exams that lead to a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
