Kevin Kerris

Kevin B. Kerris joined EA in 1999. Kevin is a high energy, hands on management professional. He has successfully identified payroll opportunities and implemented effective solutions for many organizations payroll operations. He has in-depth knowledge of various payroll and time & attendance software applications including ADP®, Lawson® and KRONOS®. His researching, reporting and utilization of information technology solutions such as ReportSmith®, Crystal® Access® and Excel® has enabled organizations to streamline payroll processes, compliance and make better use of payroll software investments.

 

As a consultant, Kevin has assisted clients to:

 

  • Diagnose and resolve payroll related concerns
  • Evaluate Federal, State and Local withholding and reporting compliance
  • Migration of payroll data and processes
  • Document current payroll business process to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Re-design payroll business processes to improve efficiency, compliance and employee satisfaction
  • Negotiate payroll software and services contracts
  • Install service level agreements with payroll service providers
  • Institute child support, tax levies and garnishment compliance procedures
  • Develop automated time and attendance spreadsheet solutions
  • Training payroll department staff

 

Kevin has worked in spans numerous industries in roles including interim payroll manager and project manager for employer of 150 to 20,000 employees. 

 

He is a Member of the American Payroll Association and participates in payroll legislative review through the American Payroll Association and the Bureau of National Affairs.
